« Answer / Information/ Word of Knowledge or Angel Dreams | Main | Calling Dreams »

Buildings

The buildings in your dreams are significant and should be noted because they reflect specific areas in your life. Childhood homes often appear indicating unresolved issues from the past need to be addressed as they are now affecting areas in your life today. Houses or buildings in disarray or in need of repair indicate areas in your life that need supervision, cleaning up and redirecting. Chaos and confusion in past dwellings indicates these types of disturbances will shortly be acted out in your own life. Dreams of the building where your work such as factories or office complexes often deal with co-workers and social relationships where open communication is needed. The general associations you assign to the different locations help point out their specific meanings in the dream.

Both my husband and I are getting allot of dreams about houses... like looking to buy a house, being at someones's house, seeing a house that totally flipped over, etc....any thoughts on these and why so many dreams about houses??

Dear Brenda

Houses often represent the condition are state of being a person is in at the present, past or future time. It can also represent oneself; personality, character or reputation the human body, church, or home. So I would think that you and your husband are in a time of transition and or mix up right now but change is coming.

I Have a question about dream visiting a new home that is open at check point, and inside a garden with an abundance of tropical green plants of a friend supposingly home, I have not seen in over twenty years, I was greeted and had luggage then I was wearing a white plush robe. I saw no doors anywhere but him hurrying to finish painting a door post in blue green like some pants he had on and saddle shoes (?). It was a beautiful private residential place with so much greenery very beautiful and there was other familes not related living there. What do open homes mean in the middle of a green garden type place as this appear like a mansion place? Thank you.

Dear Lissie houses that appear to be open without restrictions of wall and very large and spacious means an increase is coming that will allow freedom, to grow and move without hindrances. Barbie

Lissie,

Clothes are works. God has prepared good works in advance for us to do. Painting represents the final phase of construction. If something is being repainted, there's a shift in the purpose intended for the enclosed space. But the door post(a type of gate) was being painted. and you had luggage. so you've arrived at a new place. there's something new you're moving into, a new purpose and aspect of the work God has prepared for you, a resurrection of a suppressed part of you(old friend) that is being restored(but only if the old friend doesn't mean anything more to you than just the fact that you haven't seen him in eons - if he could represent something else, consider that). Moving into this will bring new freedom and fulfillment, as Barbie said. It's interesting that his legs were clothed with the same color as the door post he was painting hurriedly. If there was nothing special about your friend's legs (like if he was a runner) then the legs are support and strength, or a primary part of who you are, and this new development will happen shortly. The robe is pure, just like the linen is the righteous acts of the saints. The garden is life, as pure as the robe. How you felt about the dream overall is key, and how you felt about each element is key.

The Lord said that it is by wisdom that we interpret dreams. When Nebuchadnezzar had the dream about the giant tree? Daniel pondered it for about an hour before the king said to him not to be troubled by it but just tell him the meaning. So even Daniel had to sit down and apply knowledge and wisdom and common sense to the visual riddle God had put forth. Even Solomon, the wisest ever, said that it is the glory of kings to search out a matter. So applying wisdom and knowledge to the Lord's riddles is good and should be done.

Dave,

I really like your interpretation and very grateful for your insight! It confirmed a lot for me and you helped me in stretching my thinking in order to reach a proper and correct understandment of my dream. Both Barbie and yourself have really spoken "directly on" an area I have definately been praying about and clearly has manifested in my dream to guide me as God has spoken through both of yourselves. Thank you for sharing your gifting to help me!

Lissie

I've dreamed alot about big shopping malls.I seem to be confused and lost in different stores. What does this mean?

All my life up until a few years ago, I would have dreams of my current home having all these cool extra rooms I never knew were there. hidden doors and extra suites, etc. This stopped for a few years but last night I had the first one for the house I am currently living in. It is always exciting. This time I opened what looked like a wall closet door and walked in on a company banquet or party full of families, with an MC and food, and music and mini-golf. What is the meaning of dreams like these?
